Rajinikanth’s much-awaited ‘
Kaala’ teaser has been postponed to March 2. The decision comes after the demise of the Kancheepuram Sankara Mutt
Jayendra Saraswati
on Wednesday morning. Reportedly, the makers wanted to postpone the teaser to pay tribute to Jayendra Saraswati.
Taking to Twitter, Dhanush wrote, “Due to the demise of respected Jagadguru Poojyashri Jayaendra Saraswati Shankaracharya, as a mark of respect Kaala teaser will be released on 2nd March. Apologies to all the fans who were eagerly waiting for the teaser.”
According to reports, ‘Kaala’ teaser will be out at 11 am tomorrow. Much like any Rajinikanth film, the teaser is expected to set the internet on fire. ‘Kaala’ is directed by Pa Ranjith, who is teaming up with Rajinikanth after the success of ‘Kabali’. Rajinikanth plays the titular role of a gangster based in Mumbai, while actress
Eswari Rao plays his wife Selvi in the film.
‘Kaala’ has an ensemble of artists like
Huma Qureshi,
Sampath,
Nana Patekar and
Samuthirakani in important roles. Music composer
Santhosh Narayanan is reuniting with the team after the success of ‘Kabali’.Produced by Wunderbar Films, the film is all set for a massive release on April 27, 2018.
