Rajinikanth starrer 'Jailer' kick-started a year back, and the film shooting is progressing steadily. Rajinikanth teamed up with director Nelson Dilipkumar for the pan-Indian film, however, the film's release date is yet to be locked. But we have got some news on the first single!
'Jailer' first single will be a celebration song, and Rajinikanth will be seen shaking a leg with over 200 artists in the film. This song will also be the actor's introduction song in the film, and the film's composer Anirudh Ravichander is busy doing the final touches for the song.
The first single from 'Jailer' will be released soon during a festival occasion, probably this Tamil New Year, which falls on April 14. There has been no update from the 'Jailer' team except the cast announcement, so fans are eager to catch the first single or teaser next, to light up their celebrations.
Reported to be an action thriller, 'Jailer' will be a perfect pan-Indian film as the makers roped in several leading stars across the industry to play key roles. Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, Jackie Shroff, Sunil, Tamannaah, Ramya Krishna, Vasanth Ravi, and Redin Kingsley among others play important roles, while the film's cinematography is handled by Vijay Karthik Kannan.
Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is preparing to commence the shooting for 'Lal Salaam', the directorial comeback of his daughter Aishwarya, and he plays an extended cameo in the film that is based on cricket. The superstar has also announced his next film as a lead with 'Jai Bhim' fame TJ Gnanavel and the film might take time to start rolling.
