Actor Rajinikanth's second daughter Soundarya and businessman Vanangamudi's son Vishakan got married in 2019. The couple was then blessed with a baby boy in September 2022, and they named their child Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi. In this case, an ear-piercing ceremony of Veer Rajinikanth Vanangamudi was held at the Meenakshi Amman temple in the Sulur area of Coimbatore, the clan deity temple of the Vishakan family. Rajinikanth and close relatives attended the event. A special flower decoration was made on the temple premises because of this. Following this, a special worship service was conducted on behalf of Soundarya Rajinikanth's family along with special sprinkling and decoration prayers for Goddess Meenakshi Amman.
After the special, a special lunch was given to close relatives at a star hotel in Coimbatore. Vishakan and Soundarya Rajinikanth along with their child have been camping in Coimbatore for the last two days for the ear-piercing ceremony and taking care of the event arrangements.
Earlier, Rajinikanth, who arrived at Coimbatore airport with his wife Latha, was given a grand welcome by fans, and the 'Jailer' actor was surrounded by a large number of fans.
