Superstar Rajinikanth is celebrating his 75th birthday today, Friday and the occasion is extra special as the veteran actor also completed a remarkable 50 years in the film industry the same year. Fans and fellow stars including Mohanlal, Dhanush, director Karthik Subbaraj and others have shared their wishes for the legendary actor on social media.

Mohanlal's birthday message

On his X (formerly Twitter) handle, Malayalam superstar Mohanlal added his warmest wishes, writing, "Warmest birthday wishes to dear Rajinikanth Sir. As you celebrate 50 remarkable years in cinema, thank you for inspiring generations with your values, strength, and extraordinary spirit. May God bless you always with peace, good health, and boundless joy."

Dhanush celebrates the Thalaiva

Tamil star Dhanush who was earlier married to Rajinikanth's daughter Aishwarya Rajinikanth, wrote, "Happy birthday thalaiva @rajinikanth."
