Rajinikanth starrer ���Kabali��� gets the green signal from Madras High Court

The last film of the veteran actor, ���Lingaa��� was big dud at the box office. The distributors of the KS Ravikumar film in Coimbatore suffered huge losses and went to court to seek compensation. Sukra films, who were the major distributors of ���Lingaa��� in Coimbatore, moved the Madras High Court to secure a stay on Kabali���s release until they are paid a compensation of Rs 89 Lakhs.However, the High Court was having none of it.
The chief justice presiding over the matter dismissed the plea for putting a stay on Kabali���s release. The court announced that the petitioners can file a separate case seeking compensation for their losses, but there will be no stay on the film���s release.
