Remarkably, just two days after TJ Gnanavel narrated the story of 'Vettaiyan', Rajinikanth recounted the entire plot in just one hour, showcasing his grasp of the character and narrative. The Superstar actor had numerous questions about his role, sending TJ Gnanavel voice notes every morning with queries about different scenes. TJ Gnanavel compared Rajinikanth’s respect for him to the reverence he has for his mentor, K. Balachander, attributing this humility and dedication to the actor's enduring popularity across generations.
