Superstar Rajinikanth celebrated his 75th birthday on Friday. Today, the veteran actor paid a visit to the Tirumala Tirupati temple along with his family. He offered prayers to Lord Venkateshwara in the early hours of December 13, choosing a peaceful and spiritual start after his birthday celebrations.

Videos and photos of the legendary star at the temple is making the rounds on the internet. In a video, Rajinikanth is seen entering the temple with his wife Latha and daughters Soundarya and Aishwarya. He is seen dressed in a traditional white shade attire with a brown shade scarf.
A heartwarming moment with grandson Yatra Raja
Interestingly, in the video also shows Rajinikanth's grandson, Yatra Raja, joining his grandfather as he walked beside him and gently guiding the veteran actor as they exited the temple premises.
Fans gather for a glimpse of Thalaiva
In a video shared by PTI, it also shows media and fans trying to get a glimpse of the actor as his security made way from the family. After exiting the temple, the star family posed for a couple of photos at the media's request. While walking out, he was seen waving to his fans with a cheerful smile on his face.
50 years in cinema marked with 'Padayappa' re-release
Rajinikanth's 75th birthday has been a special treat for fans as the legendary figure completed 50 years in cinema in the same year. On his birthday his cult classic film, ' Padayappa', written and produced by him, was re-released in theatres in enhanched quality.
During a special screening in Chennai, his wife Latha Rajinikanth attended the show but left midway, explaining he had watched the first half and was heading out to meet Rajinikanth.
Shooting his upcoming film 'Jailer 2'
The actor is currently working on 'Jailer 2', the sequel to his 2023 blockbuster. On his birthday, he was seen celebrating his special day by cutting a cake during the shooting of the film. The film is expected to complete shooting sometime in December and is likely to hit theatres in the summer of 2026.
