Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Bharathiraja, and others wish Ilaiyaraaja after the composer gets nominated for Rajya Sabha MP

The President of India can appoint 12 people who excel in various fields including law, sports, social service, art, and literature as nominated MPs to the Rajya Sabha. Accordingly, music composer Ilaiyaraaja from Tamil Nadu has been announced as the nominated MP of the Rajya Sabha. Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Bharathiraja, and others have been wishing Ilaiyaraaja on social media after the composer is nominated for the seat. Rajinikanth, Bharathiraja, Khushbu, and several others from Kollywood have shared their heartiest wishes to the composer for being selected as the Rajya Sabha MP.







Kamal Haasan in his wish said that the government can give the post of President to Ilaiyaraaja for his immeasurable achievement, and welcomed his appointment as a Rajya Sabha member, and congratulated the composer. Meanwhile, Ilaiyaraaja thanked the government for the honor and thanked everyone for their lovely wishes. Ilaiyaraaja is currently in the US for work, and the popular composer is expected to get a grand welcome when he is back in Chennai.


Ilaiyaraaja is a legendary music composer in the Tamil film industry. He has composed music for more than 1000 films and has won National Awards five times. The Government of India has also conferred awards including Padma Bhushan and Padma Vibhushan to Ilaiyaraaja for his enormous achievement.
