Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan’s film to begin soon

Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan working together in a film has been one of the most anticipated happening in Kollywood. The fans of both actors have expressed the desire to see them both work together in a film after attaining the status of huge stars. A few months back there were reports that Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan are working together in a film produced by Kamal and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.Recently there were reports suggesting that the movie has been dropped and the two stars are not acting together. The latest is that the movie is still on.
A few reports suggest that a close source to the stars has revealed that the movie has not been shelved and could go on floors in November. Though Kamal Haasan will be bankrolling the film there is no assurance that he will play a role in the film. The film which is currently titled as Thalaivar 169 was supposed to be announced in April and since the arrival of the coronavirus the makers have pushed the announcement.
Rajinikanth is currently working on Siva’s Annaatthe. The film has Nayanthara, Meena, Khusbu, Keerthy Suresh, Soori, Sathish playing important roles. The film has music by Imman. Kamal Haasan is part of Indian 2. The film is directed by Shankar. The film has Rakul Preet, Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Vivekh playing important roles. He is also part of Thalaivan Irukkindran. Anirudh is composing the music for Indian 2. AR Rahman had composed music for the prequel.
