Ask director Kamal Prakash about it and he says, “Kadhalikka Neramillai is Tamil cinema’s first Eastman Color film. It was a cult comedy. You will understand why they titled that film thus when you watch it. I wanted to play on similar lines as our hero, a middle-class morattu single boy, doesn’t find anyone to fall in love with. And that is why we decided to title the film Kadhalika Yarum Illa. We are so happy that we found a beautiful title in Tamil for our subject.”
The team will be announcing the title and releasing the logo at SSN College of Engineering, today. “This is a youthful film and that’s one of the reasons we decided to launch the title and logo amid college-goers,” he says.
The team has already finished the first schedule and is gearing up to begin shooting again. “We will start our next schedule soon, in Ooty. We still have about 60% of the film left to be shot,” says Kamal.
