Confirming the news, Raiza says, “I can’t reveal what my role is all about, but it is definitely an important role in the film. I was surprised when I got a call from Bala sir asking me to meet him. He spoke to me about the role and I found it very interesting and was excited about being a part of this project. I have seen Arjun Reddy and I was excited about taking up that role in the Tamil remake. In fact, I have completed shooting for my portions, too.”

Talking about working with newbie Dhruv, Raiza says, “He’s a super cool, chilled out guy. I felt he was very professional — I mean, for someone working on his first ever film.” And how is Bala as a director? “Working with Bala sir was an education. I was learning something new every day. He’s a perfectionist, and he knows exactly what he wants. He was very sweet to the actors. I have now started admiring his working style.” Coming back to the role that she’s is playing in the film, Raiza refuses to reveal anything. But we think it’s the actress’ role (played by Jia Sharma in the original).
