On behalf of the Tamil film fraternity, the title was given to her by the team of her upcoming film, '

Market Raja MBBS

', at the film's audio-cum-trailer launch on Tuesday.

The award was bestowed upon her by the film's crew including actress Rohini, actor Nasser and Sarathkumar. It is also interesting to note that Radikaa's father MR Radha, was honoured with the title Nadigavel, for his expertise in the field of theatre.
