Legendary director Bharathirajaa, who was last seen on the big screen playing Dhanush's grandfather in last week's Thiruchitrambalam, has been hospitalised after he started feeling unwell. The filmmaker-turned-actor is now undergoing treatment at the Bharathirja Hospital in Chennai.
Ever since news of his hospitalisation came out, many personalities in Kollywood have been hoping for the director to make a speedy recovery.
Today, actress and producer Radikaa Sarathkumar, who was introduced by the veteran filmmaker, shared a video of her praying for her guru in France. Radikaa, who is seen lighting up candles at the Lourdes Church in France and offering her prayers, posted that she is hoping for her dear director to recover soon and that she is looking forward to talking to him.
"En iniya director @offBharathiraja avargaley, my special prayer to you to get well soon at the Lourdes church ,in France. waiting to see you soon on my return, miss talking to you ���������� (sic)," wrote the actress.
Bharathirajaa had chanced upon Radikaa at her father MR Radha's home, and cast her in his rural romance Kizhakke Pogum Rail, in 1978. Since then, they have shared a great rapport.
