We reported earlier that Radhika Prasiddha, who won rave reviews for her performance in the National Award-winning Kuttram Kadithal, plays one of the female leads in Vijay Miltons Kadugu. The actress had essayed the role of a teacher who suffers mental agony in the former. Now, she will be seen again playing a teacher this time, with a different shade. Apparently, she has also put on weight for her character. She says, Kadugu too has me in the role of a teacher so there was enough care taken to ensure that no similarities occur. The story of the film is set against the backdrop of a village in Cuddalore. Most of my scenes are with Rajakumaran, though Im not paired opposite him. Our relation in the film is not that of a couple who are in a relation. We are great companions, and put forward an ideology that a man and a woman can be friends without being romantic partners.
