decided to plant saplings on her birthday to create awareness and urge her fans to take up planting as many trees as possible. The pretty actress who was last seen in 'Aranamanai 3' in Tamil, made promise to plant a sapling on every birthday of hers. Exactly a year later yesterday, she seems to have kept her promise and planted a sapling.
While she shared pcitures of her planting the sapling on Twitter, she post a video on Instagram and the actress said, "This day last year, I planted a sapling and promised to make it a birthday tradition and here I am..! I dedicate this beautiful little sapling to those who are making a difference and inspiring us all to be better towards Mother Earth. A shout-out to all those doing their best for a greener planet." (sic)
Meanwhile on the work front, Raashii Khanna has an interesting line up of films. While she is also a part of couple of Telugu films, her films in Tamil include Karthi-starrer 'Sardar', 'Thiruchitrambalam' with Dhanush and 'Methavi'.
