Raai Laxmi refutes being part of a new Tamil film

Raai Laxmi, who was last seen in Neeya 2, was shocked when she came across a tweet which announced a new project with her name in its cast. The makers made the announcement of the untitled movie directed by Kesavan and tagged Raai Laxmi on the tweet. Reacting to it, the bewildered actress posted, “Am I ? Something that I am not even aware of ? Strange how ppl can just take a news like this? #falsenews.” After some time, the makers deleted the post.The director, who previously assisted Kadhir and Kalanjiyam, had earlier made Avalukenna Azhagiya Mugam.
The tweet came from the handle of a production company called Kavan Entertainment and the untitled film is being presented by Suba Kannan. They have announced that the cast and crew of the project will be revealed soon, but one wonders why the actress was tagged in the tweet. Meanwhile, Raai Laxmi has Cinderella and Miruga awaiting release. The former has been directed by Vinoo Venkatesh while the latter had Parthiban, a former assistant of Bala, at the helm. Miruga has the actress teaming up with Srikanth again Sowcarpettai.
