R Parthiepan reveals why he couldn't register his vote after fans question his absence on social media

It was a busy day for Kollywood yesterday because of the Tamil Nadu Assembly election. While many came out in numbers to register their votes, some couldn’t make it for reasons best known to them and one of them was actor R Parthiepan.
Parthiepan took to his Twitter handle to explain why he couldn't register his vote after fans started questioning him for his absence.


Parthiepan, who had got vaccinated for COVID-19, had a sudden allergic reaction. His eyes, ears, and face were swollen. The actor explained that this should not stop people from taking the vaccines as a very few people have this type of allergy. He also added that he regrets that he couldn’t cast his vote due to this.
Parthiepan's 'Oththa Seruppu' recently won the Special Jury Award at the 67th National Film Awards, and the actor was so pleased with the recognition for his film. Parthiepan is also prepping up for his single shot feature film.
