After taking a sabbatical from cinema, R Madhavan made a stunning comeback with the sports-drama

in 2016. Ever since the blockbuster success of the film, R Madhavan has been loaded with acting offers. With back-to-back projects in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, Madhavan seems to be one of the busiest stars around. According to latest reports, R Madhavan will star as ISRO scientist
Nambi Narayanan
in his upcoming yet-untitled biopic.
Reportedly, the project will be helmed by Ananth Mahadevan, who is known for films like ‘Aksar’ and ‘
Dil Maange More
’. Talking about the project, Ananth Mahadevan reportedly said that he was fascinated by Nambi Narayanan’s story, who was reportedly charged espionage and arrested in 1994. However, the charges were dismissed by CBI in 1996. The Supreme Court eventually found him not guilty in 1998.
According to reports, the biopic will be told in three stages in order to chronicle three important phases of Nambi Narayanan’s life. Ananth Mahadevan also believes that Madhavan is the only actor to possibly do justice to the role. The yet-untitled film will have Madhavan sporting three different looks for the film, which is expected to go on the floors later this year.
On the work front, R Madhavan will be next seen in the Tamil romantic-drama ‘Maara’, in which he’s been paired opposite Shraddha Srinath for the second time after
