'Punnagai Poove' actress turns director

Actress Kaveri who played one of the lead roles in 'Punnagai Poove' has now turned director and producer. The pretty actress will be making her directorial debut with a bilingual romantic psychological thriller starring Telugu actor Chethan Cheenu in the lead.

Touted to be based on real-life incidents, the shooting of the film produced by K2K Productions is expected to commence soon. Director Gautham Menon wished the team released the pre look and teaser glimpse of the film.



Kaveri also known as Kalyani made her debut as a child artist in the Malayalam film industry and went to star in a number of movies in Malayalam and other south languages as well. Some of her notable performances in Tamil include 'Samudhiram', 'Kasi', 'Kannukkul Nilavu' and 'Punnagai Poove' among others.
