Pulikecei producers lodge complaint against Vadivelu

Vaigai Puyal Vadivelu might no longer be part of Imsai Arasan 24am Pulikecei, but the producers of the film have lodged a complaint against the actor at the Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC) saying that they have incurred a huge loss as the actor failed to turn up at the shoot for the film. Producers Shankar and Subaskaran have approached the TFPC to ask Vadivelu to compensate for the loss.
TFPC has now asked its members to not do any film with Vadivelu until he compensates for the loss for Pulikecei. This means that even FEFSI and Tamil Nadu Theatre Owners Association will not team up with Vadivelu.
In the meantime, Vadivelu has signed a film with director Suraj. What’s interesting is that producers will not extend their support to the film. We will have to wait and watch how Vadivelu handles this situation. The original film titled Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi directed by Chimbudeven and produced by Shankar was a runaway hit, which is why the makers wanted to do another film in the franchise.
