Public protest on the sets of Kathir's next

The young Tamil actor Kathir was last seen on big screens in the sports horror film 'Jada', which was directed by Kumaran. The super-fit actor is the next part of several films in Tamil, and he is busy shooting for his films. As per the latest from an online portal, a public protest took place at the shooting spot of Kathir's next film.
Reportedly, the makers of Kathir's next film were spotted shooting for a large funeral gathering scene in Chennai.Thus, the public near the shooting spot gathered and protested outside the shooting spot since it is dangerous to shoot a large gathering scene during the pandemic situation, which is still a threat.
The public of the area has also lodged a police complaint against the makers. The film shooting was canceled after the protest, and the makers of Kathir's next are reported to be fined for breaking corona restrictions. But the details about the director and the producer of the film are not revealed.
Kathir will be reportedly pairing up again with Anandhi for a thriller, which is to be directed by debutant Zac Harries. Pavithralakshmi and Athmiya Rajan will also be playing crucial roles in the romantic drama.
