'Psycho' star Udhayanidhi Stalin pledges not to do politics in cinema

Udhayanidhi's 'Psycho', which is directed by Mysskin, is set to hit the screens this week. Ahead of the release, Udhayanidhi interacted with a daily and shared some details about the film. Udhayanidhi Stalin, who comes from a strong political background, pledged that he will not to do politics in cinema.
Udhayanidhi calls himself as a directors' actor and stated that he will do whatever the director tells him to.He also praised director Mysskin's cool nature while shooting for the film, and his capability of making a film in a record time.
Udhayanidhi made his debut as a lead actor with director M Rajesh's 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'. The actor had opted out of Mysskin's 'Yuddham Sei' but after a few years joined forces with the filmmaker for 'Psycho'. Mysskin had apparently narrated a one-line story of 'Psycho' to Udhayanidhi, and thus began the journey of the film. While ‘Psycho’ will hit the screens on January 24, Udhayanidhi has already moved on to other films. The actor is in talks with director M Rajesh for a sequel of 'Oru Kal Oru Kannadi'.
