Producer Council election voting is over

The voting for the officer bearers of the Tamil Nadu Producer’s Council for the years 2017-2019 was held this morning at Woodlands Theatre in Chennai. New candidates for 27 posts including the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Executive council members will be elected today. The voting began at 8 am and went on till 4 pm, after which the counting has begun. Three teams headed by Keyar, R Radhakrishnan and Vishal are contesting this year. The results are expected to be out by midnight. The election is being conducted under the supervision of Madras High Court's Justice (retd) S. Rajeswaran.
