Priya's gearing up for bigger things

But, Priya isn���������������������������t paying heed to them. With a couple of big Telugu projects on hand and Kollywood beckoning, she���������������������������s gearing up for bigger things to come.������������������
������������������Vamanan might not exactly be scorching the BO in Chennai, but it���������������������������s provided this pretty lass that break into films and facing the camera, both of which she loves. It���������������������������s centred around Jai and how he becomes larger than life. The main thrust of the story is not about his love life.��������������������������� Despite that, Priya���������������������������s performance has gotten her a couple of fans. ���������������������������I was thrilled to get a call from Suhasini, who liked me a lot in the film,��������������������������� squeals Priya in delight.
The young actress hopes to give a new dimension to girl-next-door roles that are dime a dozen in the Tamil film industry. ���������������������������I think I���������������������������m the typical girl-next-door,��������������������������� she says, ���������������������������I have a face that everybody will relate to. That���������������������������s my USP.���������������������������
Though she speaks Tamil, she speaks it with an accent as she was in the US for almost a decade. So, what is she doing to speak it the proper way? ���������������������������A lot of on-the-sets training, actually,��������������������������� states Priya, ���������������������������In fact, my Tamil improved a lot on the sets of Vamanan due to Jai. I tried hard to play pranks on him and he would mostly find out! In the process, one good thing happened ��������������������������� my grasp of the language improved a lot and I learnt a lot of new words.���������������������������
What���������������������������s her stance on the glam front, considering the fact that a lot of new entrants are willing to bare it all for the camera? ���������������������������I���������������������������m very comfortable with my body and can never look vulgar,��������������������������� she says with conviction, ���������������������������As long as it���������������������������s sensual, it���������������������������s fine.���������������������������
So, what next? ���������������������������I���������������������������m excited about a Telugu film titled Leader that���������������������������s being directed by Sekhar Kammula of Happy Days fame,��������������������������� she says, ���������������������������Also, there���������������������������s a film title Tama Rama Krishna Krishna in which I co-star Ram.
