“This is a science fiction film with ample dose of action. Praveen has written the story and the screenplay. He plays the lead, too. When I read the script, I felt that Priyamani would be apt for the role,” says Rajesh. He adds that they were looking for an actress who would work for both the Tamil and Kannada film industries. “This is the first film that she has signed post her marriage. Priyamani is quite choosy about her roles. But when she heard this script, she really liked it. Her role is that of a CBI officer,”says Rajesh.

The team has wrapped up shooting the first schedule. “We shot in Bengaluru and will begin our next schedule soon. This is not a typical hero-heroine project. It is an out-and-out serious subject. In fact, there is no romantic angle in the film. We are shooting the film in both Tamil and Kannada simultaneously,” says the director.
