Priya Bhavani Shankar has the qualities of Vidya Balan: SJ Suryah

was held today in a grand manner. The film is directed by Nelson Venkatesan of 'Oru Naal Koothu' fame and a rat plays a key role in it.

Speaking at the event, SJ Suryah said, “I personally feel that there is a good blessing for the entire film and there is a sweet magic in this film. The real heroes of the film are the producers at Potential Studios (SR Prabhu and SR Prakash Babu). The way they respect and value their staff and team is remarkable. I have heard that Aamir Khan has a team that chooses good scripts and these producers, too, follow the same approach."

Calling Monster "a breezy film that has lots of magic", he said, "Producer Prabhu sir told me that Nelson is a sincere person and I could sense it during the shoot. There’s a deep connection between humans and animals. There were times when I would tell everyone on the sets that it’s best to go for the CG for the shots involving rats. However, they didn’t compromise with it."

The actor was all praise for Priya Bhavani Shankar and compared her to Bollywood actress Vidya Balan. "I would often tell Priya Bhavani Shankar that she has all the qualities like Vidya Balan in 'Munna Bhai MBBS' and good things will definitely happen soon to her."

He also joked that this was the first ever film of his to get a U certificate.
