Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Parasakthi’ has finally hit the big screens today, January 10. The film marks Sivakarthikeyan's 25th outing, and Prithvi Rajan, son of veteran actor-comedian Pandiarajan, has roped in to play a pivotal role in the film.

On working with Sudha Kongara

‘Parasakthi’ is helmed by the acclaimed filmmaker Sudha Kongara. For Prithvi Rajan, collaborating with the director was a dream come true. “I have always wanted to work with Sudha Kongara, ma'am,” he told The New Indian Express.

The young actor also recalled meeting her a day before the audition for the film. "Sudha Kongara was a little late for the meeting. She apologised to me, saying, 'I don't like people waiting for me'," he said.

On working with Sivakarthikeyan

Prithvi Rajan told the outlet that working with Sivakarthikeyan taught him humility. He also opened up about the rapport he shared with the actor. He recalled the time when Sivakarthikeyan visited his family personally to invite for his wedding. "Sivakarthikeyan had also shared a few words of praise for my father Pandiarajan. He told me that without my father, he is worth nothing and mentioned how he approached Sivakarthikeyan when he was in his lowest.
He said it was a time when nobody gave him an opportunity to work in the industry and remembered how his words of encouragement pushed him to work as an anchor in the show Kalakka Povathu Yaaru, which eventually propelled him to the limelight," Prithvi Rajan said. Meanwhile, Sivakarthikeyan starrer ‘Parasakthi’ has hit the cinemas today. The film, written and directed by Sudha Kongara, also features Ravi Mohan, Atharvaa, and Sreeleela in pivotal roles. The initial response to the film is somewhat mixed. While many laud the film as 'authentic, powerful, and impactful', a section of netizens opined that the film falls short in the writing.
