Alphonse Puthren, who directed the blockbuster romantic entertainer Premam, starring Sai Pallavi and Nivin Pauly, has expressed a strange wish on his Twitter handle. He wanted Kamal Hassan to be made a one day Chief Minister for Tamil Nadu. He added that Kamal would be able to take the state to the next level with his innovative ideas. It has to be recalled that director Shankar in his movie,

Mudhalvan

(1999), has depicted Arjun as a one-day CM of the state and the plot revolved around how he transformed the corruption-ridden state in a day’s time. The film had late Raghuvaran as the corrupt chief minister.

tweeted, "If there is an option like in Mudhalvan film...to appoint a chief minister for one day. I think Kamal Haasan should be given one day for caring Tamil Nadu. Just one day would do. I hope it happens soon. He would take government to the next level with his innovative ideas. This is just my wish. Please forgive this child if I said something wrong,"(sic)

Alphonse made his directorial entry with Neram, a bilingual, starring Nivin Pauly and Nazriya, in Tamil and Malayalam, before he went on to make Premam. He had recently mentioned that he will make his next movie in Tamil. However, details on the same are yet to be relieved.
