Prakash Raj to reunite with Vijay after a decade for Thalapathy 66?

It is well known that actor Thalapathy Vijay is all set to make his debut in Telugu with 'Thalapathy 66' directed by Vamshi Paidipally. The film produced by Dil Raju and is said to be a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. While the cast and crew of the film is yet to be officially announced, the latest buzz is that acclaimed actor Prakash might be part of the film.

Prakash Raj has previously shared screen space with actor Vijay in films like Ghilli, Pokkiri, Sivakasi and Villu. Vijay, who is currently shooting for his upcoming 'Beast', is expected to begin 'Thalapathy 66' early next year. Meanwhile, in a recent media interaction, Prakash Raj has apparently revealed that he is set to work with the 'Beast' actor soon.

With no other film yet officially lined for Vijay other than 'Thalapathy 66', looks like Prakash and Vijay will be reuniting onscreen after more than a decade. They acted together last in 'Villu', which hit the screens in 2009. Reports are that Prakash is said to be playing a positive role in 'Thalapathy 66'. Interestingly, Prakash Raj had also acted in Vamshi's Brindavanam, Thozha, and Maharshi earlier.

Vijay is busy shooting for his upcoming film 'Beast' directed by Nelson Dilip Kumar of Nayanthara's 'Kolamavu Kokila' and Sivakarthikeyan's 'Doctor' fame. Pooja Hegde plays the leading lady in the film. Music is by Anirudh Ravichander and cinematography is by Manoj Paramahamsa.
