Actor-choreographer Prabhudheva collaborated with AL Vijay for the horror-comedy ‘Devi’, which hit the screens back in 2016. The film opened to positive reviews from critics and became very successful at the box-office. Simultaneously released in
Hindi
as ‘Tutak Tutak Tutiya’, the film was praised for its comical portions.
The latest buzz
is that Prabhudheva and Vijay might team up for the sequel ‘Devi 2’. However, the talks are currently in the nascent stage and we await an official confirmation regarding the same.
In ‘Devi’,
Tamannaah
plays a simple village girl, who gets married to Prabhudheva. However, the spirit of an aspiring actress enters the body of Devi and attempts to accomplish her desire of becoming a big-shot actress.
Meanwhile, Prabhudheva and AL Vijay are gearing up for the release of the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual ‘Lakshmi’, which is touted to be a dance-drama. Starring Prabhudheva and Ditya Bhande in the lead, the makers recently unveiled the trailer of ‘Lakshmi’, which has received a very good response on YouTube.
