Popular choreographer turned director and actor Prabhudeva is teaming up with Malayalam filmmaker SJ Sinu for a film titled 'Petta Rap', which will have actress Vedhika playing the female lead. While the film was announced a week ago, the team has begun shooting for the film in Pondicherry.
The film's title is inspired from one of Prabhudeva's popular hit numbers from the ’90s. Music composer D Imman is composing music for the film. Sharing a picture of the team from the sets, actress Vedhika wrote, "#PettaRap starts rolling in Pondicherry. All the best team. @PDdancing joins #PettaRap shoot at #Pondicherry A @sinu_sj ride!! #PaatuAdiAattamRepeat ��"
Prabhudheva plays the role of an aspiring actor while Vedhika leads a music band in the film. Actors Bagavathi Perumal, Vivek Prasanna, Ramesh Thilak, Mime Gopi and Riyaz Khan are also part of this film.
