Prabhu Deva to play a cop in his upcoming film

After Mercury, choreographer-turned-actor

Prabhu Deva

is all set for his next. This time around, the actor will play a

cop

in his career. The film is directed by

AC Mugil

. The director was a former associate of the actor in two of his directorial ventures - Pokkiri and Villu.
The film, which is yet to be titled is produced by

Nemichand Jhabak

of Anjathe and

Tik Tik Tik

fame. The producer posted on his micro-blogging page, “Here’s the announcement on our new film- a family /action flick with @PDDancing directed by AC Mugil. Happy to join hands with the hero who dons the role of a cop for the first time, #PDinKhaki (sic)” The long-pending space-based film Tik Tik Tik will be releasing on June 22, as confirmed by the producer Nemichand.
