Powerstar to a play a comic villain

Powerstar Srinivasan will play a character with negative shades in his next film, Jaika Povathu Yaaru. The film directed by Shakthiscott will have the director himself playing the lead alongside newbie Vandana. ���It is a story about an illegal car race. Instead of showing it in a violent manner, we have laced the subject with humour. We got Powerstar to play a comic villain in this film.He has a different look and will have a solo song, too,��� says Shakthiscott.
This is the director���s second film. ���I worked as a visual effects assistant for films like Eeram, Arundhati and Endhiran. I made my debut with Athisaya Ulagam, a 3D film. But this one is my first full-length commercial film,��� says the director. Pandiaraj will also be seen playing a pivotal role in this film.
