Poster of GV Prakash's Bachelor gets trolled for vulgarity

Actor-composer GV Prakash Kumar is acting in the film Bachelor, which is directed by debutant Sathish Selvakumar. The project, which is said to be a romantic drama, features model Divyabharathi as the female lead. The first look of the film was released on Wednesday evening, but it has invited criticism, with many finding it vulgar. The poster, which was released by Chennai Super Kings spinner Harbhajan Singh on his Twitter page, has an aesthetically shot picture of GV Prakash lying in the lap of a girl (probably his girlfriend in the film), but the positioning of the head — between the girl's legs — is being called crass and exploitative. While a few requested Prakash to do more family-friendly films like his recent release Sivappu Manjal Pachai and refrain from acting in films that have obscenity, some took a lighter view of it, with one even quoting the actor's own line, 'Virgin parasanga sabam summa vidathu' from Trisha Illana Nayanthara.
