Duraipandian, who was suffering from lung problems and diabetes, was admitted to Kilpauk Hospital in Chennai due to chest on Monday. But the Durapandian succumbed after failing to treatment at the hospital yesterday afternoon, but it was confirmed that he did not have a corona infection.
