The pooja for
Sibi Sathyaraj’s upcoming cop film,
Walter
, was held early this morning. The film, which is directed by debutante
Anbu
, is said to be a crime thriller. The launch was attended by the entire star cast and crew including Samuthirakani, the film’s lead pair, Sibiraj and
Shirin Kanchwala. Producer Kalaipuli Thanu was also present on the occasion. Though the pooja was held early today, the shoot if expected to begin on June 17th at Kumbakonam.
Interestingly, Sibiraj’s father, actor Sathyaraj is known for his cop role, Walter Vetrivel. The film is bankrolled by Prabhu Thilak. Sibiraj had earlier played a cop in Naaigal Jaakirathai and his performance had got good reviews.
