Ponvannan in, Nasser chucked out

Vijay's next film with director A L Vijay is progressing at a brisk pace with Amala Paul playing the female lead for the first time opposite Vijay in this mass action entertainer. The latest buzz is that Nasser who had been signed up for an important role in the film has now been replaced by Ponvannan.
This upcoming action and entertaining film is yet to be titled after the recent decision of Vijay which was to not use the title 'Thangamagan' but to come up with a fresh unused one.G.V. Prakash is scoring the music and the film is produced by Chandra Prakash Jain.
The crew is currently shooting in Mumbai and will move on to shoot in Chennai after they are done with the scenes in Mumbai. Amala Paul recently completed her part of the shoot in Mumbai and returned to the city.
