for over a month now. The movie's shoot was taking place at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad and the latest is that the shooting schedule has been wrapped up.
Actor Riyaz Khan, who was part of Thailand schedule had joined the shooting again in Hyderabad is back in the city after wrapping up the shoot.

who is playing an important role in the movie, has updated on his social networking page that he is back in Chennai.
The story thread of Ponniyin Selvan spans years and more than 50 characters. The film has an enormous star cast that includes Vikram, Jayam Ravi, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, and Aishwarya Lekshmi amongst others. 'Ponniyin Selvan' has AR Rahman scoring the music, Ravi Varman handling the camera and Thotta Tharani taking care of the production design.
