'Ponniyin Selvan 2' promotional tour to begin on THIS date - Exclusive

'Ponniyin Selvan 2' is going to be one of the biggest Tamil releases of this year, and Mani Ratnam's directorial is slated to release on April 28.
A source close to the film exclusively to ETimes, "The makers have decided to begin the promotional tour on April 16, and they have asked for two weeks' dates from the lead stars for the promotion. 'Ponniyin Selvan' stars will be travelling across Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Cochin, Mumbai, and a few other Northern states starting from April 16."
The round-the-clock promotional tour of 'Ponniyin Selvan' stars is expected to stir the buzz for the film.It is worth mentioning that 'Ponniyin Selvan' stars also did the same kind of promotional tour during the release of the film's first part, and their interaction with fans, press, and media across locations made the film hit headlines.
Directed by Mani Ratnam, 'Ponniyin Selvan' is based on the novel of the same title and the film revolves around the history of the Cholas.
