Pon Manickavel to hit screens on February 21

, the movie has music by Imman and Nivetha Pethuraj essaying the female lead. It was said earlier that the movie may hit screens for Pongal release, but later, it was postponed to January end. Tipped as a murder mystery, Prabhu Deva plays the titular role in Pon Manickavel, which has cinematography by

Suresh Chandra Menon, J Mahendran, Soori and Prabhakar among others will be seen playing pivotal roles in the project. The makers claim that the film will be different from the regular cop dramas. The trailer which was released recently had a glimpse of Prabhu Deva's dance movements, too, making fans waiting for it to watch it on big screen. Interestingly, Bharathirajaa's Meendum Oru Mariyathai is also expected to release on the same day.
