Pizza 3 will be an edge-of-the-seat thriller

The first look of debut director Mohan Govind’s Pizza 3 was released on Friday. The project, which is being produced by CV Kumar, has Ashwin Kakumanu playing the lead role in it. Kaali Venkat, director Gaurav Narayanan and Raveena Daha, among others, play pivotal roles in it.
Pavithrah Marimuthu of Arulnithi-starrer Diary fame, will be seen essaying the female lead.Pavithrah is also a Malaysia-based doctor Kumar says, “The shooting of the film began in February last year. Post a break during the lockdown, we commenced again in September and finished most of the portions around Deepavali. We are thinking of releasing the film in theatres around March-end. We hope that the government will allow 100 per cent occupancy in movie halls by then.”
Shot in and around Chennai, Kumar informs that the movie isn’t a sequel to Pizza 2. He adds that it will offer edge-of-the-seat moments and will be devoid of cliches one often finds in horror films.
He adds, “Pizza 3 is a different attempt when compared to some of the regular spooky movies which we have seen earlier. It will have strong emotions — the screenplay and making will be of international standard.”
