Actor Siddharth, who is often regarded to as ‘the boy next door’ from the many film roles he has played, recently took social media by surprise when he hit back on Twitter at a user supporting online

that released in early November last year as now being available on a popular online streaming service, a user commented that an illegal torrent website was ever-dependable for ensuring the movie’s availability for free. This led to the actor retorting that it was a shame for actors to have users like him watch their movie.

This triggered many angry comments from users, with some mentioning his comments as ‘rude’ and some telling him to ‘mind his tongue’. The actor, staying his ground, asked the people to think before giving sympathy to such who supported online piracy by watching films illegally.

I think you need to go study what racism means. You seem to be confused. The actor, drawing the final card, said that piracy is a crime, and justifying it is pathetic. Asking if travelling without a ticket can be justified, he goes on to exclaim how it is now considered wrong if one chides the thief and those who watch films illegally.

He finally remarked that film makers and actors would not remain mute spectators to insults, and that they would also give back. And he dares those creating trolls to do so, albeit at their own risk.

Justifying it is pathetic. Can you justify travelling without a ticket? Idiocy..Thirudana thittina thappu, thirutta paathu kondaadura moonjiya thittina thappu! Film makers should only take insults & never give back? Sorry, but we will! Troll at your own risk:)
— Siddharth (@Actor_Siddharth) January 8, 2018
