Following
Arvind Swami, the makers of the highly awaited ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ have unveiled the first look poster of Arun Vijay. Going by the poster, Arun Vijay seems to be playing a character called Thyagu in ‘CCV”, which is being directed by Mani Ratnam.
Over the course of the next few days, the makers will reportedly unveil the remaining characters including Simbu and
Vijay Sethupathi. Interestingly, the Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil was initially approached for Arun Vijay’s role. Tipped to be an action-drama, rumours are rife that ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ revolves around four brothers. However, nothing has been confirmed yet.
‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ has huge expectations, especially since it marks the coming together of a huge cast that includes Simbu, Vijay Sethupathi, Arvind Swami, Arun Vijay, Jyothika and
Aditi Rao Hydari in lead roles. After filming nearing for several months, the shooting was wrapped recently and the project is currently in its post-production stage.
Also starring Prakash Raj, Thyagarajan, Jayasudha and Mansoor Ali Khan in supporting roles, ‘Chekka Chivantha Vaanam’ has music by AR Rahman. Made on a big-budget, the film has now been scheduled to release on September 28.
