Pencil's red dragon connection

We also know that Suriya's current film, Anjaan, is being shot using red dragon technology, considered an innovation in cinematography circles. But it looks like Pencil, which stars music composer GV Prakash and Sri Divya in lead roles, is also being shot using the same technology. As this is a new-released technology, Pencil could well be the first film in the world to be shot in this format.
Says Prakash, 'We can see a big difference in the visuals. There's so much clarity when we use this, and it makes our job a lot easier. We've completed almost half the film and are into the second schedule now. As it is a bilingual, we're also simultaneously shooting some sequences in Hyderabad.'
