Dhanush's upcoming film
Pattas
gets a 'U' certificate. Directed by
Durai Senthilkumar
, the film will be released on January 15, the actor announced in a tweet on Friday.
The film, which features Dhanush in a dual role, will feature
Mehreen Pirzada and
Sneha as the female leads. The action film, which will feature a mix of martial arts and kickboxing, is bankrolled by Sendhil Thyagarajan and Arjun Thyagarajan under the banner of Sathya Jyothi Films.
Pattas also marks Dhanush's second collaboration with
Kodi
, a revenge political drama also starring Trisha and Anupama Parameswaran. Dhanush, who is still fresh from the success of Vetri Maaran's hit drama Asuran, has Karthik Subbaraj's Suruli in the pipeline.
