Parvathy eager for Maariyan release

Actress Parvathy Menon, who made her debut with the super hit Notebook, has a really big film coming up, titled Mariyaan. She is pairing opposite Dhanush in the movie Mariyaan which is based on fisher-folk and their way of living. Directed by Bharath Bala the actress is eagerly awaiting the release of the film, which is expected to push her into the big league in Kollywood.
The pretty actress seems to be very confident about the film and her character in the film that she says that her name in the minds of Tamil viewers would change from 'Poo' Parvathy to 'Mariyaan' Parvathy after this movie. Her romance scenes with Dhanush and her reactions of concern and yearning are expected to make a deep mark in audience���s minds.
A major portion of the film has been shot in Namibia. The theme song of 'Mariyaan' was canned on the lead pair at the Coastal Desert, one of the oldest deserts in the world. Parvathy Menon has some good projects in her kitty including Chennaiyil Oru Naal in Tamil and Andar Bahar in Kananda.
