Parvathi's Kollywood comeback

Four years ago, Parvathi Menon made her entry here with Sasi���s Poo. But, she hasn���t acted in a film since. The actress will now make her comeback in the Tamil remake of the Malayalam hit, Traffic.
Confirming her presence in his film, debutant director Shahid Khader says, ���Yes, Parvathi is part of my film, which is a multi-starrer. Though, I cannot divulge details on which role she essays in the film, I can tell you that we will begin shooting from July.���
While Parvathi refuses to talk about her role in Mariyaan, she confirms her being part of the film by saying, ���Yes, I have begun shooting for the film.���The Traffic remake, which will have a different title, stars Sarath Kumar, Prakash Raj, Nasser, Cheran, Prasanna, Midhun, Radhikaa Sarath Kumar, Rohini and Remya Nambeesan.
There were reports of Parvathi being the heroine for Mariyaan, opposite Dhanush, too, but after the initial buzz, there hasn���t been any confirmation on that news. The actress, who won her maiden Fimfare Award for Best Actress for Poo, has been pursuing her studies. She only signed on three Kannada and one Malayalam film since.
Some unknown facts about Traffic Remake
The movie is currently being remade in Kannada as Crazy Star with V Ravichandran and Priyanka Upendra in the lead.
A Hindi remake being directed by Rajesh Pillai is also on the cards. There are talks of Ajay Devgn being the lead in this film
