Panithuli: Nowhere but America

For director Natty Kumar, his upcoming film Panithuli, starring Ganesh Venkataraman, and debutantes Kalpana Pandit and Shobhana Shankar, could be visualized no where else but in America.
The film, which tracks the life of a software engineer as he moves to the US, has been shot majorly there. ���I���ve studied filmmaking in the States and when I used to do my practice shots, I used see how each and every frame would be so perfect for a shot in the country.I knew that I had to utilize these locations when I made commercial films,��� says Natty, who���s previous film Meiporul was also shot in the United States.
���It is a young, romantic film, meant for the urban crowd, but it has mass appeal with its fights and thriller elements,��� he adds, ���We shot the film simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi. I���m hoping to release the film simultaneously in both languages. But, if that doesn���t happen, we may release the Tamil first.���
Natty is hoping to release the trailer along with Simbu���s Tamil remake of Dabangg.
