Pa Ranjith reveals the plot of his next with Kamal Haasan

Pa Ranjith has confirmed that he will be joining hands with Kamal Haasan after completing his current film, which is with Vikram. Now in a recent interview, Pa Ranjith revealed the plot of his next with Kamal Haasan. The director revealed that the Kamal Haasan starrer film will be set in Madurai, and currently he only has a thread of the film in his mind. Pa Ranjith is yet to develop the full script, and he will be narrating it to Kamal Haasan after that.

Meanwhile, Pa Ranjith's film with Chiyaan Vikram went on floors last day (July 16th) with a formal pooja in Chennai, and the film is tentatively titled 'Chiyaan 61'. The story of the film is about some incidents that happened in KGF in the 19th century, and it will be a raw film that is set in the pre-independence period. 'Chiyaan 61' will also be shot simultaneously in 3D and the film will be made on a massive budget. The shooting of the film will begin soon, and the team has also planned to shoot some portions in 'KGF'.

On the other hand, Kamal Haasan is expected to begin his next film with director Mahesh Narayanan, and the official announcement regarding the film is awaited.
