Oru Naal Koothu directed by Nelson is said to be a social drama that mainly focuses on the process of our Indian weddings. Talking about the film, Nelson says, Weddings are considered to be a big thing here. This story revolves around the events that happen from the day of wedding preparations to the day of the wedding. So, the love track is simple in this film.
About the cast, Nelson says, Dinesh, for the first time, plays an urban character (he is a software guy). We were looking for an actor who has a strong boy-next-door image and he fit in perfectly. Miya George plays a rural girl from Dindigul, while Nivetha essays an ultra modern character. We have shot the film in and around Chennai and in Dindigul. The film is currently in the post-production stage and we are planning to release by the end of this year. Bala Saravanan, Karunakaran, Ramesh Tilak and Rithwika play crucial roles in this film.
He adds, Miya Georges performance needs a special mention because she is very good in Tamil and has delivered all her dialogues with ease.
